This is a powerful example of the classic CVSTOS style.
With an admirable technical prowess and a host of convenient features, the CVSTOS Challenge Chronograph will surely make a wonderful addition to your collection. This is a self-winding automatic watch that beats at 28,800 vph and has a 42-hour power reserve. It is driven by CVSTOS’s own 557 caliber and features an exclusive tungsten 88 alloy and grade 5 titanium rotor.
The elegantly curved tonneau-shaped stainless steel case measures a massive 54 x 41 mm and rests upon a black CVSTOS rubber strap with a stainless steel deployant clasp. Other case features include a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a transparent sapphire crystal case back, a 100 m / 10 atm water resistance, and a screw-down grade 5 titanium winding crown. The pushers and screws are also in grade 5 titanium.
The multilayered and partially skeletonized dial is alive with dynamic functionality. There is a tachymeter scale upon the outer rim, SuperLuminova-treated indexes and hands for easy viewing in the dark, a date window at 4 o’clock, and a handy power reserve indicator at 3. Chronograph functions include a 30-minute counter at 12, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a 60-second counter at 9.

About condition:
This watch is in good overall condition. There is a small and light scratches on the bezel and back side. No dents/marks on the glass. The watch keeps great time and all functions work perfectly. The original CVSTOS rubber strap with original buckle.
ABOUT:
Cvstos is an emerging watchmaking brand co-founded in 2005 in Geneva by Sassoun Sirmakes and Antonio Terranova. Sassoun Sirmakes is the son of Vartan Sirmakes, co-owner of the Franck Muller Watchland Group. When he was 17 and still a student, Sassoun followed in his father's footsteps as a watchmaker, mastering the craft and developing the family's jewel-setting workshop. He learned all about techniques and watchmaking design in the family business, where he also gained experience in business relations. He was aged just 20 when, in 2004, he met a talented designer, Antonio Terranova.
Terranova was born in 1967 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. He had a background in engineering and has never left watchmaking. He had previously worked with Cartier, Piaget, TAG Heuer, Breitling and Zenith. The newly-formed partnership created the CVSTOS brand; in 2005, it presented its first collection, including a dual time band model, a chronograph and a tourbillon. In 2009, the pair moved into new premises in Geneva city centre, with a lounge showroom, the workshop and the management all under one roof. The business expanded, as did their collections and unique timepieces in a radical, contemporary style.
