This beautiful steamer trunk has got the rare and famous "Damier" canvas, steel trim, fittings and handles.
Legendary model. Handwork. Serial number No.102213. Year of release about 1900-1905.
Used, as a rule, when traveling on ships.
It can be used as a coffee table, as intended or as part of the interior.

ABOUT CONDITION: In good condition given its age!!! All Original Hardware, Locks, Studs, Trim and Handlesfully sturdy and durable chest. Upholstery material (including interior) has been lost in places, metal parts have rusted superficially (but all are strong), riveting (furniture nails) has been covered with oxide and patina (but everything is in place), wooden parts are strong with different degrees of wear. No unpleasant smell.
